After an unscheduled week off during the Nashville race, Brad Smith and the No. 26 Koolmat.com Ford team picked up where they left off at Lake Erie, improving their short track performance and finishing in 15th place, only one lap down to the leaders.

Brad took a provisional, starting the Allen Crowe Memorial 100 in 31st. Keeping out of trouble wasn’t easy, but Brad managed to keep his nose clean through the end of the race, posting his second-best finish of the season.

The team finished 14th at Kansas in June.

The next race on the ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule is the Hantz Group 200 by Jasper Engines/Transmissions and Belle Tire, at Toledo Speedway on September 3.
