Brad Posts Best Short Track Finish of the Season at Lake Erie
A 19th-place finish at Lake Erie Speedway Saturday night was Brad's best short-track finish of the season and his ninth top-20 finish of the 2004 season.

The team worked hard to fix the set-up on the car during practice, making several runs and loosening the car each time. The car was to Brad's liking at the end of the practice session and with a fast time of 16.667 seconds, the team elected not to qualify but rather to take a provisional starting position.

Starting from the 27th position, Brad had to come in for a tire rub on the pace laps and got out of the pits just as the leaders were taking the green flag, going a lap down almost immediately. He stayed quick throughout the event but eventually got caught up in a couple of racing incidents which caused significant damage to the right front of the car.

He finished the race three laps down.

The next event on the schedule for the ARCA RE/MAX Series is Waste Management 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday, August 14.

Brad finished 16th in the season's visit to the 1.33-mile concrete track earlier this season.

You can watch the race Saturday on SPEED at 2pm.
